CLIMATE: Located on the edge of the Coastal Plain, San Antonio enjoys mostly moderate weather year-round and enjoys a modified subtropical climate.  The warmest summer months are July through August.  Generally, in winter, we might have a few days below the freezing mark, however, those days are few and far between.

 

TRANSPORTATION: San Antonio International Airport has two terminals and parking for over 6,000 vehicles.  It is located approx. 8 miles from the downtown central business district and it is approx. less than 35 minutes from any part of our city.  It has an average of 300 scheduled departures and arrivals daily.

 

FUN & RECREATION: Our lovely city is within minutes of the beautiful Texas Hill Country and has many small towns nearby for shopping or just browsing.  The Gulf Coast is only a 3 hour drive and has Corpus Christi bay, Padre Island, Port Aransas and popular South Padre Island is only a 4 hour drive.  In addition, there are daily flights to Mexico including Monterrey, Cancun ,Guadalajara, beautiful and picturesque San Miguel de Allende and finally, Mexico City.  Our world famous San Antonio Riverwalk provides a fabulous Holiday light display from Thanksgiving Day until January 1st each year.
